Permit Area

The Phase II Permit requirements will be implemented through the stormwater management plan in the Permit Area. The Permit Area is the 2000 US Census-defined urbanized area. The Board of County Commissioners changed the permit boundary effective in January 1, 2012. The Board took comments at a Public Hearing held on October 24, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. during the regular Board meeting. Based on the comments and review of the boundaries the board came to the conclusion that the 2000 Census-defined urbanized area is the proper boundary of the stormwater permit area.
